FASHION | Social Media Detox & Quiz Clothing Collab

 Hey Everyone,
I've had a social media detox the last few months so I apologise for the lack of posts, I'm hoping to post at least 1 post a week for the foreseeable future. I have some exciting collaborations coming up which I excited to share with you all.
I think a social media detox is something everyone should do from time to time to ensure you don't become overly dependent on social media, which is easier said than done, especially when you're going through a tough time. On social media, the majority of the time you only see the aspects of people's lives, that they want you to see and it paints an unrealistic picture of someone's life. You end up feeling like everyone around you online & offline is living their best life making you feel more isolated and down.
I decided to take some time out and instead of posting depressing posts online, I took the time & spent it with my family instead, which improved my mood a lot more than scrolling through a feed every 10 minutes. So if you are going through something a little shitty at the moment switch off your phone, even for a week, trust me you're not going to miss much you might even find it refreshing.
Now back to the fashion! I've worked with Quiz Clothing throughout my 3-year blogging career and worked on some great collaborations. So when they contacted me seeing if I was interested in a monthly collaboration with them I jumped at the chance. Whenever I wear pieces from Quiz I always get so many compliments and people always seem surprised when I tell them they're from Quiz, which is why I'm always so keen to promote this brand.

WHAT I'M WEARING |
Frill Hem Trousers - Quiz Clothing
Heels - SIMMI Shoes
Body - Primark
Hair Extensions - KoKo Couture
Leather Jacket - Zara
I was lucky enough to pick a piece from their 'Blogger Hot-List' section of the website and when I spotted these black high waist frill hem trousers, I knew I had to have them. The frill hem is a huge trend at the moment not just in a top but also in trousers. So far I've got about 5 pieces in the frill hem style (Blog post coming soon). So I knew they'd go well in my wardrobe. they're smart but still chic and figure flattering due to the colour and high waist style. I'm very much looking forward to styling them up in different ways.
