Hey Everyone,
Hope you enjoyed my lifestyle blog post on the | 10 things I achieved during 2016 & my goals for 2017. It was slightly different from the typical blog post on Your Daily Dose of Style. I was also actually quite nervous about posting the image that went with the post, as they were off my first photo shoot with local photographer *Junior. Even after nearly 4 years of blogging I’m definitely not a natural behind the camera, and I was rather nervous on the shoot, which I think you can tell, but if somebody asked me to do that 3 years ago, I wouldn’t have had the self-confidence, so I’m proud of my progress.

Over the Christmas period, I went a little mad in the sales, I don’t normally online shop as I like to try clothes on and see what they look like in ‘real life’ but as there were so many savings to be had, I decided to risk it and refresh my wardrobe for 2017.

I was straight on the ZARA website when the sale launched at 10 pm on Christmas day and managed to pick up this maroon leather jacket for just £34 including postage. I picked this out because my boyfriend surprised me with a romantic trip to Paris for Christmas. We’re going in the middle of January, so I thought this would be a perfect jacket to wear. All the items I’ve bought in the sale I picked out to wear for Paris.

It’s now a tradition that me & my mum, go sale shopping early on Boxing day and raid all the shops for discounted bargains. The first shop we always go to is River Island, as they tend to put half the shop in the sale. I checked online the night before to see what they had in so I knew what I was looking for.

I was chuffed when I spotted this leopard print backpack as I fancied it as my bag to travel with to Paris. I thought it would go perfectly with my maroon jacket. I also found this T-Shirt dress with the floral rose pattern , which I’m obsessed with at the moment. I paired this with my River Island Knee High Boots but while in Paris, I'll also wear this outfit with my disco legging's as it’s going to be quite cold.

I’m planning on doing a lookbook blog post from my time in Paris which will be posted at the end of the month, so look out for that.
