Hey Ladies,
I recently visited Newcastle for a few days when I was home
from university. I thought it would be rude not to visit The Botanist while I
was there as I’ve heard so many good reviews and I couldn’t wait to see the
interior.
This was a perfect chance to get dressed up and wear my Colette MonochromeContrast Midi Dress that Vavavoom sent me last week! I love this dress as it’s
figure hugging with the black side detailing in looks like it pulls you in at
the waist creating a complimentary silhouette. As its St. Patrick’s Day it
makes sense to feature this amazing fashion brand that are based in Ireland.
Vavavoom also stock a wide range of dresses perfect for any occasion.

The
Botanist || As soon as you step through The Botanist doors its impressive, the
interior is amazing! The place has an chilled atmosphere
and looks incredible with the old tree in the middle, my photos don’t do it
justice as I’ve only taken them on my phone and not on my usual Nikon pictures,
I’m looking forward to going back during the day to capture the interior at its
best light!

The whole bar/restaurant area has a
flamboyant design, quirky style, stunning architectural structure, and
breathtaking views, we were lucky enough to be seated on a table with a window
with an view of Eldon Square which added to the night!
I went with a burger; because you cant go wrong with a burger right? I thought
I might have been in a food coma after that, but after seeing the pudding menu
I had to make room! For desert I had the strawberry and marshmallow kebab with
sailor jerry chocolate sauce, toffee sauce and ice cream! Dreamy. The cocktails
also went down a treat, maybe a little too well!
As you can imagine I had a little food coma belly by the end
of this, but luckily the dress still looked flattering and I didn’t look 6
months pregnant! I’m looking forward to going back to The Botanist and indulging
again!
