EVENT || Rock On Ruby Christmas

Rock On Ruby T-Shirt Event

@ Cain & Grain

Hey Ladies,I am new feeling very festive thanks to Rock On Ruby! Yesterday I attended the fabulous ROR blogger event which was held at the Cane & Grain restaurant & bar in Manchester. The event took place on the 'Liars Lounge' which was such a quirky bar room which was in the theme of a Tiki dive bar & Caribbean rum shop!

The event was all things christmasy and festive, I feel after the event its now acceptable to rock a Christmas jumper! i attended the event with a fellow fashion blogger Steph Lamb, and the alcoholics in us sent us straight over the the bar to try out the Rock On Ruby christmasy cocktail which consisted of Vodka, Gingerbread, Apple, Pomegranate & Lime, with an added touch of mint, its safe to say these complimentary cocktails went down a little too well!

Myself & Steph then ventured over to the Pick 'n' Mix & cupcake treat table as we couldn't resist any longer! It was a feast of festive treats including cute little mince pies and ROR cupcakes. The Rock On Ruby girls even went to the effort of making cute little Poodle biscuits that added such a cute touch and they were in the shape of the ROR logo! So its safe to say, the diet isn't going too well! But it would have been rude to say no right?

There was lots of activities taking place throughout the whole event which definitely kept all the bloggers entertained and enabled bloggers to get up close and personal with the Rock On Ruby T-shirt collection. The first activity was creating your own Rock On Ruby top, which you designed on printed ROR paper. I went for a grey jumper and printed my favourite quote onto it which was 'Life's Too Short To Wear Boring Clothes'.
I then went to complete Rock On Ruby's Style Challenge for ROR & Blue Rinse. The challenge consisted of styling up some of Rock On Ruby's slogan T-shirts with Blue Rinse vintage collection. I went for the simplistic look using ROR 'Trust Me I'm a Blogger' long sleeve white top & paired it with a black leather skirt and a tartan red scarf that is bang on trend this A/W season and will keep you warm this winter.
Activity 3 - The awkward moment when you have to pick a piece out of the Rock on Ruby gym range when you embarrassingly haven't set foot in a gym in years and the only exercise i get is walking to the fridge! But whats stopping me from wearing this T-shirt to McDonalds to make myself feel better hey? Well anyway this it the Tee I picked out!
Activity 4 - The final activity of the event was watching the fabulous makeup artist Patrick Baston create a 'Frozen' look on a gorgeous model giving all the bloggers a demo on how to complete this amazing look!

To wrap the event up, every blogger received a chirstmasy goodie bag which was filled with some very cute gifts, my personal favourite was the Rock On Ruby '#BloggerStyle' gold & black tee which I cannot wait to style with some wet look legging and heels! Fab end to a fab event!

Thank you Rock On Ruby for having me!
